User Base:  

When we reviewed Auction-Warehouse, they averaged about 7,000 items being auctioned at any given time. Auction-Warehouse doesn’t have a strong user base and most sellers are simply relisting their eBay auctions on another site for free. When we looked at the auction listings, we didn’t find many that had even been bid on.

Fees:  

Seller fees at Auction-Warehouse are nonexistent, which is great. Sellers can list, sell, and close auctions for free. There are no registration fees for buyers or sellers.

Auction-Warehouse does offer some simple attention getters for a nominal fee, but we were unable to determine just how much the specific attention grabbing upgrades cost.

Selling:  

Selling on Auction-Warehouse.com is decent, but doesn’t offer anything special. We only found a few items that had even been bid on.

Buying:  

Auction-Warehouse does offer some nice search features, and decent sorting options. But we did have difficulty searching for products. While browsing through the categories list, the users can narrow their searches within each category, for example “Consumer Electronics” to “Laptops & Accessories” to “Laptops, Notebooks” resulting in actual products. However, when we typed “Laptops” into the search box, no results were found.

The buy pages are informative and easy to use. They give full descriptions, current bids, auction start and end times, the location of the merchandise, and shipping costs.

Reliability/Security:  

Auction-Warehouse utilizes feedback from both sellers and buyers. However, feedback cannot be revised after it has been posted, nor can users reply to feedback.

Auction-Warehouse has a special section of auctions for mature audiences, but the site doesn’t monitor these items and doesn’t restrict access.

Help/Support:  

There is little customer support for Auction-Warehouse. They have an email address and a small FAQs section.

Auction-Warehouse is not a good online auction venue, especially compared to other reviewed online auction sites. The features and options for members are severely limited, making Auction-Warehouse not a very good eBay alternative.
